The jacket uses Regatta's developed Isotex 5000 fabric. Isotex is a waterproof and breathable lightweight fabric range which has been designed to keep you feeling dry and comfortable in any conditions. In this case, the fabric has a hydrostatic head of 5000mm, which means it will keep you dry in the heaviest of downpours. By allowing a steady airflow in and out, the body is ventilated and prevented from overheating. The material is coated in a durable water-repellent material which will wick moisture away, stopping it from clinging onto the jacket and adding weight. A full zip is sealed, meaning that no moisture will be able to get through it. Easy to adjust depending on the weather, the zip can also be adjusted in windy conditions to keep it out. Inside the jacket, there is a part mesh, part polyester lining. This helps retain heat in the cold, whilst also allows an airflow so as not to cause you to overheat. Flat-lying seams increase the comfort, meaning that you won't be irritated by chafing. The hood drains water off efficiently, ensuring that your head will stay dry. This can be adjusted with elasticated pullers, tailoring it to your own head shape. The sleeve cuffs and waist hem can also be adjusted, stopping moisture from entering whilst not causing any discomfort. Small items can be stored securely in two zipped lower and two zipper chest pockets.
