Regatta Volter Shield II Waterproof Insulated Hooded Heated Walking Jacket

The Volter Shield II provides unrivalled warmth thanks to rechargeable copper heating zones. Ideal for fishing, riding, watching the game or any activity where you have to remain stationary in the cold or rain for long periods.

This shell makes full use of waterproof and breathable Isotex 10,000 performance fabric, with sealed seams and a DWR finish for all-weather protection. Thermo Guard insulation is used, made up of advanced synthetic fibres, trapping air to keep you warm in cold or snowy conditions. To enhance this warmth further, inside slimline panels regulate your temperature with three heat settings (that you control), the panels are optimally placed around the back and chest to maintain core warmth. Due to the wire construction, the jacket can still be compressed easily and is machine washable. This active battery powered heating system has an easy on and off button and has a safety cut off, and can provide over 6 hours of continuous heat. It requires a 5V USB power bank (not included) for use.

Even when keeping super warm, the hydrophilic breathable system means you will remain comfortable. With a breathability rating of 10,000/m2/24hours, the jacket allows inner moisture vapour to escape onto the outer layer where it can be evaporated. The active fit stretch yarns provide greater comfort and freedom of movement, as your clothing choice should never inhibit your performance. The jacket features a grown on hood with adjusters, for extra protection from the elements should the weather take a turn for the worst. An adjustable shock cord hem and adjustable storm cuffs help to seal out the elements, increasing heat retention further. A selection of zipped pockets on the chest, inside and the lower part of the jacket provide ideal storage space for small essentials, with water repellent zips to keep your belongings dry.
