This lightweight headband features Ronhill's Matrix fabric which is a great insulator and super effective at moving moisture away from your skin. The Matrix Fabric by Ronhill is a Regulite Fabric with a grid pattern that helps to trap air, which has excellent thermal properties and works to insulates the body. Despite this, it is extremely low bulk, so feels really light to wear, with the result of a high warmth to weight ratio. The headband is fast drying and fast wicking thanks to the different sized yarn filaments on the outside and inside of the fabric which is known as a denier gradient, meaning any sweat will be wicked on to the outer layer where it can be evaporated, leaving you feeling cool and dry. The soft and lightweight brush back fabric is extremely soft next to skin, and the contoured design makes for better ear coverage. Reflective details on the headband will catch the headlights of cars and bikes, improving visibility and keeping you safe on those low-light runs.
