The upper of the Salomon S-Lab Sonic 2 Unisex Trail Running Shoes is constructed with a single layer open air mesh combined with a nylon layer which allows for extreme breathability and top abrasion resistance. Thanks to the thin, welded upper constructed combined with the hi-rebound Energy Cell+ cushioning, the Sonic S/LAB 2 will ensure ultimate performance mile after mile.

With 3D Flex, it provides stretch panels on the medial and lateral side of the forefoot, offering an optimal combination of freedom of movement and foothold. Salomon lets Sensifit and Endofit cooperate to supply a secure, locked down fit. The Sensifit system works to cradle the foot, providing a precise and secure fit, while Endofit is designed to hug the foot in exactly the right places and improve feedback and foot wrapping, ensuring a supportive fit. Lastly, equipped with a traditional lace system, it ensures easy lacing and a comfortable fit.

With an EnergyCell+ midsole, it offers high rebound properties and is a compound that provides exceptional energy return, while also delivering substantial cushioning and durability. The Sonic 2 is developed with a thing ProFeel film that provides midfoot protection and at the same time, improves ground feel for a better and enhanced running experience, while also fitted with a die-cut EVA which provides excellent step-in cushioning.

The midsole offers Salomon's Vibe technology, which is designed to work with the body's natural impact vibrations to reduce fatigue.
