Breathable Mesh Upper
A single layer mesh combined with a nylon layer allows extreme breathability and top abrasion resistance. The mesh allows air to fully permeate the shoes keeping feet cool and dry when the temperature starts to rise. An abrasion resistant lining allows for excellent breathability and quick drying ensuring the shoes last longer during intense conditions. A protective synthetic toe cap is the perfect solution for toe protection whilst out on the trail.
Additionally, the split suede leather adds durability to the shoes, allowing them to put up with any terrain that the wearer decides to tackle. The low-cut profile provides freedom of movement, whilst Protection comes in the form of a rubber toe cap that is the perfect solution for toe protection in mountain and trail environments. A mudguard is constructed of protective material is placed around the base of the shoes prevents mud from breaking down and destroying the shoes enhancing their life.
IMEVA Midsole
The Salomon Evasion 2 Aero Walking Shoes engages the wearer with an injection moulded EVA (IMEVA) midsole compound which actively works to absorb ground impact, reducing pressures upon the underfoot from a clean transition through to midstance.
High Traction Contagrip Outsole
The Salomon Evasion 2 Aero Walking Shoes features a Contagrip outsole, providing unique traction technology. With a mix of compound, lob geometry and density, it gives the shoes brilliant grip and durability, regardless of the terrain underneath.
Utilising different combinations of harder, softer and grippier Contagrip compounds, Salomon's adventure running outsole provide the perfect blend of grip and durability to cover a multitude of terrains. Designed with specifically positions forefoot flex grooves and self-cleaning multi-directional lugs, these outsoles are field tested and proven to dynamically tackle rugged terrains.
