Climashield Upper
Water-resistant textile uppers will encase each foot in breathable protection. Quicklace technology allows the wearer to tighten and loosen their laces with ease (and no tying!) plus they can then be stowed safely away in the shoe's lace pocket; integrated to prevent any snagging/tripping situations. However, should the laces catch on anything, a unique breakaway system will let go immediately. The protective synthetic toe cap reinforces the shoe's trail-worthy state, defending feet against roots, rocks and other general hazards. A mud guard skirts the base of the shoe, protecting the upper as you splash through sloppy ground, while the gusseted tongue repels any kicked-up dirt and debris. Sensifit technology employs synthetic overlays to cradle the foot in snug, customised comfort; helping to anchor you to the midsole and reduce in-shoe slippage so that you can enjoy smooth, distraction-free strides. A Climashield membrane resides inside the upper to provide breathable waterproof protection, keeping little feet dry through puddles and dewy grass.
EVA Midsole
A lightweight sockliner lies atop a resilient midsole to supply an extra layer of step-in comfort and cushion. The application of Agion, an antimicrobial treatment, inhibits the growth of nasty odour-causing microbes, giving you and your gear that fresher-for-longer feel. EVA resides beneath; lightweight too, it spares juvenile joints as they strike down onto hard, unforgiving terrain.
Contagrip Outsole
A rugged outsole completes the XA PRO 3D CSWP, its aggressive lug pattern providing biting traction as you tackle awkward ascents and daring descents. High Traction Contagrip rubber flanks the perimeter of the outsole, increasing durability in this high-stress area whilst providing vigorous grip. Non-marking Contagrip makes up the middle of the outsole, its softer composition allowing for increased flexibility, as well as super-sticky grip.
