The Drifter Loft Jacket is a reversible puffy coat that gives you two style choices in one. Wear the baffled side out for a classic 'down' look, or the Pertex side out for a clean, technical look. Either way, the Stormloft insulation ensures warmth and protection in cold winter weather.
The Drifter Loft Jacket by Salomon uses Stormloft insulation that delivers a great warmth to weight ratio, even if it gets wet. Stormloft insulation technology mimics the structure, loft and warmth of down, with the fast-drying, allergy-free performance of synthetic. Lightweight but exceptionally warm, Stormloft packs small and feels cosy in any weather. Both sides of the jacket are water-repellent and windproof, for maximum protection from the elements. The jacket is constructed using Pertex Quantum, which is a light and strong material offering significant weight reduction without sacrificing strength and abrasion resistance.
The jacket is made in an active fit, ideal for fast-paced activities as it is close-fitting but still lets you move. The fixed, insulated hood adds even more cosy warmth and coverage, whilst the elasticated hem and stretch sleeve hem adjustments prevent cold air or snow from getting inside the garment. The full zip opening allows for convenient on and off and provides maximum ventilation, simply zip up to retain all-important body heat or zip down for extra ventilation when things start to heat up. A zipped pocket on the chest and 2 zipped hand pockets make accessible, secure storage for small personal items, or a warm refuge for chilly hands in cold conditions.
