Single Layer Mesh Upper

Constructed using a quick-drying single layer mesh the Salomon XA PRO 3D ensures ample breathability and top abrasion resistance. The mesh allows air to fully permeate throughout the shoe, providing a constant supply of fresh, cool air whilst simultaneously pushing out hot, muggy air. Smartly placed protection adds durability to the shoe, it ensures peace of mind when running on tough trails and harsh terrain. A Sensifit system cradles the foot providing a precise and secure fit whilst a Quick Lacing System provides a minimalistic and strong lace for a one-pull tightening ensuring you get the shoes on and off with minimal effort. A lace pocket is useful as it allows the laces to be stowed away making sure the laces do not get caught or snagged on any sticks or bushes out on the trail, reducing distractions. Completing the upper is a reinforced toe cap which protects the toes from loose debris.

EnergyCell Midsole

The EnergyCell is a rebound midsole compound that provides fantastic energy return whilst remaining cushioning, comfortable, and durable, enhancing your performance whilst ensuring you can go further for longer. The midsole uses the compressed EVA that is extended in the entire midsole to deliver underfoot cushioning. Injected EVA is the main component of the midsole which offers lightweight flexibility. It actively reduces forces pressed upon the underfoot for a smooth stride through the transition with ample shock dispersion. Fitted with Salomon's low profile advanced chassis, which is placed between the outsole and midsole to maximise security, motion control, energy management and push through protection for high performance, stable and responsive ride.
