Salomon Speedcross Sandals
Inspired by the iconic SPEEDCROSS trail running shoe, the SPEEDCROSS SANDAL offers the same traction, protection and comfort in a convenient sandal.
Synthetic Upper
Developed to ensure durability and protection on the trails, the upper of the Salomon Speedcross Sandals has been constructed using a synthetic material. The upper works to protect your feet from rocks and debris whilst still offering ample comfort. A natural leather lining ensures improved climate management to keep you comfortable when temperatures rise plus, it also works to reduce odour to keep your feet and the sandal smelling fresher for longer. Completing the upper is a convenient velcro strap that enhances foot hold keeping your foot in place at all times. The strap also allows you to customise the fit to suit your individual requirements.
EnergyCell Midsole
The midsole of the Speedcross Sandal has been constructed using Salomon's signature EnergyCell, a high-performance EVA foam that provides shock attenuation. EnergyCell provides fantastic energy return whilst remaining cushioning, comfortable, and durable, enhancing your performance whilst ensuring you can go further for longer. The 360° EVA shaped footbed wraps your foot in complete comfort so even on the toughest trails your feet will never feel the effects. Lastly, the footbed has been covered in leather to ensure extra comfort from the moment you step in.
Contagrip TD Outsole
Ensuring all-terrain grip, the outsole of the Speedcross Sandals has been constructed using Contagrip TD. Contagrip TD ensures maximum traction on varied terrain and ensures long-lasting durability to give you added confidence on tough trails. TD combines a deep, aggressive lug pattern with a durable compound to ensure uncompromising grip over any terrain. The contagrip outsole ensures confidence on wet, dry, hard or loose surfaces whilst still offering long-term durability so you can go further for longer with complete confidence in your footwear. As well as this, deep chevron lugs dig into the ground, anchoring you in place. This will also benefit you by acting as a solid base for you to push off from when taking a stride, as well as digging into the ground when braking and changing direction.
