Warm Synthetic Upper

Designed to retain heat extremely effectively, the upper of the OUTsnap CSWP will trap heat within the boots. This makes the boots suitable for wear in cold conditions, removing the risk of your extremities feeling uncomfortably cold. The firmness of the synthetic upper will also mean that the boots will have exceptional durability and will provide you with protection when completing outdoor activities. The material on the upper is also waterproof, which will simply wick any surface moisture away from it efficiently and effectively, keeping you dry and comfortable within the boots. The front of the boot has a firm toe cap which will prevent any injuries being caused, as it absorbs shocks instantly and effectively. A wrap of leather around the base of the foot will also provide protection to the lateral and medial sides of the foot. A traditional lacing system makes it easy to secure a comfortable and secure fit. The padded tongue provides comfort to the ankle. The tongue is also wide, which will prevent debris from entering the boots and causing discomfort. A protective mudguard will also prevent dirt from entering and from sitting on the boots. A faux fur lining within the boots will feel extremely snug against the feet, whilst it will also work to retain heat.

EnergyCell Midsole

Within the midsole, the boot has injected and compressed EVA which forms the EnergyCell Midsole. This multi-functional midsole will provide both comfort and protection, as it has dual-density EVA. Towards the bottom, the EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. Energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. The higher you get in the midsole, the EVA becomes less densely packed, which will make every step feel comfortable. An Ortholite die-cut insole is extremely soft and comfortable and works to wick away moisture keeping the feet cool and dry at all times.

The Salomon OUTsnap CSWP Winter Walking Boots feature a Contagrip outsole, providing unique traction technology. With a mix of compound, lob geometry and density, it gives the boot brilliant grip and durability, regardless of the terrain underneath. Utilising different combinations of harder, softer and grippier Contagrip compounds, Salomon's adventure running outsole provides the perfect blend of grip and durability to cover a multitude of terrains. Designed with specifically positions forefoot flex grooves and self-cleaning multi-directional lugs, these outsoles are field tested and proven to dynamically tackle rugged terrains.
