Stretchy and Breathable Upper

Surrounding the upper of the Cross Pro Trail shoes is an extremely stretchy and lightweight material, which will mould to the shape of the foot. This will guarantee a personalised and comfortable fit. As well as this, the material will move with your feet, which will mean that you will not feel restricted in any way. Air is able to pass through the material, which will mean that you will always feel the benefit of ventilation, as the warm air that builds up within is able to escape out, where it is then replaced by cooler air from outside. As you begin to sweat, or when you are exposed to moisture, the material will quickly act upon this by wicking the moisture away. It will then dry off quickly, keeping the shoes lightweight and comfortable. The upper is reinforced with Kevlar, which covers the toes, heel and midfoot, to protect you from any bumps or knocks that you may receive. It will also keep your foot in a healthy position. Quick laces will allow you to quickly secure or loosen the fit whilst still keeping up the movement. A flat ankle collar will reduce the risk of rubbing and chafing from occurring, whilst it will also prevent debris from dirt and mud from entering the shoes.

EnergyCell Midsole

The midsole is constructed from EVA to form the EnergyCell midsole, which provides excellent shock-absorbing properties to help protect the foot from shock and impact force. This multi-functional midsole will provide both comfort and protection, as it has dual-density EVA. Towards the bottom, the EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. Energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. The higher you get in the midsole, the EVA becomes less densely packed, which will make every step feel comfortable. For additional comfort, an Ortholite sockliner is used to create a cooler, drier, healthier and better-cushioned environment under the foot. The shoe is built with an Agile Chassis System between the outsole and the EnergyCell midsole, creating a secure and motion controlled feel. This will also ensure that energy is managed to keep you on stable and comfortable. Completing the midsole is an ortholite sockliner which cushions the foot so you can go futher for longer in complete comfort.

Contagrip Outsole

Tackle any trails in supreme confidence that you won't be let down by your shoe's grip. Using Contagrip, the outsole is able to form a solid grip between shoe and terrain. The rubber is also extremely durable and abrasion-resistant, which means long-term control is guaranteed. When you are running on the wet and muddy ground, the shoe's deep lugs dig into the ground, which will anchor you in place. This will also benefit you by acting as a solid base for you to push off from when taking a stride, as well as digging into the ground when braking and changing direction.
