3D Mesh Upper

Designed to be lightweight and breathable, the Salomon Predict MOD Running Shoe have been constructed using a 3D mesh upper. Acting as a lightweight second skin the mesh ensures you are able to go the distance in complete comfort. Perforations in the fabric encourage cool air to circulate, removing uncomfortable heat build-up to create a healthy environment for your foot to thrive in. The mesh fabric allows cool air to flow throughout the upper whilst, at the same time allowing hot humid air to escape so you can remain cool, dry and comfortable at all times. The mesh upper also works to support the foot as you move to ensure you always feel locked in and comfortable. The seamless construction reduces the risks of chafing and irritation so you can go further for longer in complete comfort. A moulded heel also exists to ensure a secure and comfortable fit; the counter locks in the heel to keep you supported at all times. Completing the upper is a lacing system which locks down the midfoot so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.

EnergyCell+ Midsole

EnergyCell+ is a high-rebound midsole technology that delivers substantial cushioning and durability. This midsole compound provides superior cushioning, stability and motion control to provide an efficient, stable and responsive ride. Energycell+ works to provide exceptional energy return by absorbing shocks when the foot strikes the ground and using it to propel you forward in the next step, this works to improve your foot's natural gait. Whilst, superior cushioning is generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces. The predict delivers a 60% reduction in joint forced to deliver a great balance of cushioning resiliency and smooth ride. As well as this, anatomically mirrored grooved match the anatomy of the foot that cushion, guide and propel the foot for an ultra-smooth forward transition ensuring a more fluid ride. Completing the midsole is a moulded EVA sockiner which provides increased comfort and excellent moisture-wicking properties.

The Predict MOD utilises an all-surface rubber compound and a versatile lug pattern, for a confident grip on both wet and dry surfaces. The full rubber outsole provides premium traction on loose terrain ensuring a solid bond between you and the ground. The Contagrip outsole is built for the widest variety of surfaces; it ensures confidence on wet, dry, hard or loose surfaces whilst still offering long-term durability so you can go further for longer with complete confidence in your footwear. Lastly, independent support platforms move and adapt to the ground and the way you move to increase and encourage liberated motion. Each outsole platform moves and adapts to the ground according to your footstrike, providing support when needed.
