Synthetic Mesh Upper
The upper of the Salomon CrossHike GORE-TEX Walking Shoe is constructed with a seamless closed-mesh upper. This synthetic upper material provides great durability and protection for outdoor activities whilst remaining breathable. A GORE-TEX technology membrane teamed with a special water repellent treatment ensures that your foot remains dry and protected from any rain or showers on the outsole and moisture created on the inside. The special treatment is applied to provide extra protection by ensuring the fabric does not absorb any water. The upper is designed to resist debris keeping you feeling comfortable on your hikes. The shoe is easy to put on and take off with the minimalistic, strong Quicklace for one-pull tightening. A feather construction extends the upper material over the midsole to create a super-precise wrap over the foot for improved feel and comfort. The Ortholite sockliner is moulded to match the contours of your foot for superior cushioning as well as breathability and durability to ensure excellent comfort and performance. Furthermore, the shoe is low-cut to keep your foot close to the ground and offers plenty of freedom of movement.
