Breathable Mesh Upper

A stitch-free upper construction provides a smooth, glove-like fit and feel which sits comfortably against the skin and reduces the risk of chafing and irritability plus welded overlays ensure structure and support as well as unparalleled durability. The Tech Lite's has a patented convertible heel that allows the wearer to receive additional ventilation and space in the back of the shoe. EnergyCell Midsole

Within the midsole, the shoe has injected and compressed EVA which forms the EnergyCell Midsole. This multi-functional midsole will provide both comfort and protection, as it has dual-density EVA. Towards the bottom, the EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. Energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. The higher you get in the midsole, the EVA becomes less densely packed, which will make every step feel comfortable. Additionally, an EVA sockliner provides added underfoot cushioning so you can go further for longer.

Contagrip MA Outsole

The Salomon Tech Lite features a Contagrip MD outsole, providing unique traction technology and all-terrain grip. Contagrip MD is focused on long-term wear. Using the most durable compound, it has a lug pattern that works equally well on both hard and smooth or soft and loose surfaces. The outsole grabs the terrain, even when it's wet or slippery, giving you more control especially on descents. When you are running on the wet and muddy ground, the shoe's deep chevron lugs dig into the ground, which will anchor you in place. This will also benefit you by acting as a solid base for you to push off from when taking a stride, as well as digging into the ground when braking and changing direction.
