Breathable Mesh Upper

Constructed using a super breathable mesh, the Salomon Amphib Bold 2 Water Shoes encases each foot in breathable comfort. Perforations in the fabric increase airflow to create a better, healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. A stitch-free upper construction provides a smooth, glove-like fit and feel which sits comfortably against the skin and reduces the risk of chafing and irritability plus welded overlays ensure structure and support as well as unparalleled durability. The Amphib Bold has a patented convertible heel which allows the wearer to receive additional ventilation and space in the back of the shoe. This turns the shoe into more of a sandal form, perfect for running through streams and adventures where greater ventilation would be beneficial. A Sensifit system cradles the foot providing a precise and secure fit and gusseted tongue works to keep debris from entering inside the shoe. Completing the upper is a Quick Lacing System which provides a minimalistic and strong lace for a one-pull tightening ensuring you get the shoes on and off with minimal effort. A lace pocket is useful as it allows the laces to be stowed away making sure the laces do not get caught or snagged on any sticks or bushes out on the trail, reducing distractions.

EnergyCell Midsole

Within the midsole, the shoe has injected and compressed EVA which forms the EnergyCell Midsole. This multi-functional midsole will provide both comfort and protection, as it has dual-density EVA. Towards the bottom, the EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. Energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. The higher you get in the midsole, the EVA becomes less densely packed, which will make every step feel comfortable. Additionally, an EVA sockliner provides added underfoot cushioning so you can go further for longer.

High Traction Contagrip Outsole

The Salomon Amphib Bold Water Shoes features a Contagrip outsole, providing unique traction technology. With a mix of compound, lob geometry and density, it gives the boot brilliant grip and durability, regardless of the terrain underneath. Utilising different combinations of harder, softer and grippier Contagrip compounds, Salomon's adventure running outsole provides the perfect blend of grip and durability to cover a multitude of terrains.
