Breathable Upper

With a new ultra-breathable construction, the all-black iridescent upper is even lighter and bolder. The breathable material is teamed with Matryx technology which acts as a second skin that cradles your foot for a precise fit and secure foothold without compromising breathability. Anti-debris mesh improves comfort and breathability by actively and efficiently wicking away the build-up of excess sweat and moisture, leaving your feet cool, dry and comfortable as you strive for the best results and performance. Additionally, cool air is encouraged to circulate, creating a drier, healthier environment for your feet to thrive. Further comfort and dexterity are provided by the quick lace system, ensuring you find the optimal fit without have any unwanted distraction or discomfort. The lacing offers a secure, locked-in feel while you run. The laces can be safely stored in the lace pocket provided, reducing the risk of the laces becoming a nuisance or being a potential trip hazard. Rounding off the upper is an integrated gaiter designed to keep debris out of the Cross 2 as well as providing you with added protection against the elements to help you run with confidence and comfort.

Compressed EVA Midsole

Compressed EVA resides in the midsole of the Salomon S/LAB Cross for exceptional cushioning and comfort. The compressed EVA is a high-quality foam which is responsible for cushioning the foot throughout your running experience. As well as providing plush cushioning and comfort, the midsole is highly durable and resilient, so it will not break down - even with a high content of responsiveness and spring. Ideal for racing and trail running, the midsole is extremely lightweight to propel you through your strides and deliver explosiveness.

Contagrip TA Outsole

Developed with Premium Wet Traction Contagrip which is a durable rubber compound that covers the platform of the Salomon S/LAB Cross. This outsole will prevent the abrasive trails from causing damage to the underside of the shoe. Ideal for difficult, unpredictable terrain, the outsole ensures you run with confidence knowing you have a shoe you can truly rely on. Strategically placed lugs provide flexibility to encourage a full, unrestricted range of motion in all directions.
