Stretch Knit Upper
Constructed by using a custom stretch knit, the Salomon Predict SOC2 Running Shoes offers a sock-like fit, that moulds to your foot and provides a snug, plush fit. The knitted mesh allows air to fully permeate the entire upper providing a constant supply of cool, fresh air while simultaneously forcing out hot, muggy air that resides inside the shoes during heavy exertion. As well as this, soft heel padding cradles your foot as you run and sits comfortably against the skin for all-day wear. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system that works to provide a secure, locked-in fit to reduce shoe slippage.
EnergyCell+ Midsole
EnergyCell+ is a high-rebound midsole technology that delivers substantial cushioning and durability. This midsole compound provides superior cushioning, stability and motion control to provide an efficient, stable and responsive ride. Energycell+ works to provide exceptional energy return by absorbing shocks when the foot strikes the ground and using it to propel you forward in the next step, this works to improve your foot's natural gait. Whilst, superior cushioning is generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces. The Predict SOC2 delivers a 60% reduction in joint forced to deliver a great balance of cushioning resiliency and smooth ride. Anatomically mirrored grooved match the anatomy of the foot that cushion, guide and propel the foot for an ultra-smooth forward transition ensuring a more fluid ride. Completing the midsole is a moulded Ortholite sockliner which provides added comfort and excellent moisture-wicking properties.
Contagrip FA Outsole
The Predict SOC2 utilises an all-surface rubber compound and a versatile lug pattern, for a confident grip on both wet and dry surfaces. The full rubber outsole provides premium traction on loose terrain ensuring a solid bond between you and the ground. The Contagrip outsole is built for the widest variety of surfaces; it ensures confidence on wet, dry, hard or loose surfaces whilst still offering long-term durability so you can go further for longer with complete confidence in your footwear. Lastly, independent support platforms move and adapt to the ground and the way you move to increase and encourage liberated motion.
