Thinsulate and Climasalomon Upper
The upper is everything you need in the cold and snow. 400g Thinsulate insulation keeps feet warm and toasty without bulk, whilst the Climasalomon waterproof membrane delivers flexible, lightweight, waterproof protection. The sockliner features a 4mm layer of EVA foam for increased insulation, as well as a soft faux fur cover for extra comfort and luxurious feel. The gusseted tongue prevents dirt and debris from entering the boot, whilst a protective mudguard protects the lateral and medial sides of the foot. A traditional lacing system looks down the foot for increased stability and security, whilst a locking eyelet between the forefoot and ankle eyelets locks the laces in place, enabling independent and precise adjustment.
EnergyCell Midsole
Within the midsole, the shoe has injected and compressed EVA which forms the EnergyCell Midsole. This multi-functional midsole will provide both comfort and protection, as it has dual-density EVA. Towards the bottom, the EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. Energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. The higher you get in the midsole, the EVA becomes less densely packed, which will make every step feel comfortable.
Winter Contagrip Outsole
This outsole uses a unique compound that maintains adhesion in freezing temperatures so you can explore in confidence. The multidirectional lugs deliver advanced grip and traction of variable surfaces for greater control. This helps you take on the snow and ice with ease. This outsole also features ADV-C Chassis, a molded insert embedded in the outsole. Providing strong lateral support and reassuring protection, it also delivers optimal mobility and flexibility.
