GORE-TEX Upper
To ensure feet remain dry and protected during your long adventures in changing weather conditions, the Elixir GORE-TEX Shoes utilise a GORE-TEX upper. The GORE-TEX materials provided in the upper construction of these shpoes are exceptionally waterproof, to prevent water from seeping through the fabrication, therefore preventing feet from becoming uncomfortable and wet. The shoes utilise Salomon's SensiFit construction to provide you with a strong, precise foothold, meaning in-show slipping is prevented, and feet remain comfortable from the start until the end of your adventures. The shoes have a soft, padded tongue and collar, meaning the shoes further provide your feet with a comfortable, plush, foot-hugging hold. This will also prevent irritation from being caused, whilst a traditional lace-up construction, further reduces in-shoe slipping, and keeps feet secure in the shoes.

Contagrip Outsole
Ensuring long-lasting grip, the outsole of the Elixir has been constructed using Contagrip. The outsole utilises an all-surface rubber compound and a Reverse Camber lug pattern, for a confident grip on both wet and dry surfaces. The full rubber outsole provides premium traction on loose terrain ensuring a solid bond between you and the ground. The durable rubber used on the outsole of the boot is abrasion-resistant which will prevent any damage from occurring over a long period of time exposed to hard ground. The rubber compound offers a higher density of rubber in high-impact areas of the outsole where the most wear occurs throughout the miles, this helps reduce the wear and tear allowing you to run harder and for longer.
