Building on the successful Ultra-Glide, the Glide Max Trail is the softest, most cushioned trail shoe Salomon have ever made.

3D Mesh Upper

Providing maximum breathability, the 3D mesh upper enables optimal airflow for a comfortable wearing experience. This breathable upper works to keep you feeling ventilated and comfortable no matter what. Warm air that builds up within will be able to escape, where it is then replaced by cooler air from outside the shoes. This will work constantly for effective ventilation. For protection on the trail, the Glide Max TR Running Shoes have been integrated with a protective Profeel Film which is designed to help filter rocks and sharp surfaces for a more comfortable and stable fit. SensiFit technology cradles the foot providing a secure, snug, and virtually customised fit all around the foot. The fit of the Glide Max Trail is slightly wider than the Ultra Glide to accommodate any type of foot. Completing the upper is a traditional lace system that provides a locked-in feel for a secure fit all day.

Energy Foam Midsole

With a similar midsole to the Ultra Glide, the Glide Max TR features a high stack construction and Energy Foam midsole but with even more foam. This increase in foam creates a plush feeling upon every landing for better comfort. Lightweight and responsive, the midsole is designed to deliver long-lasting cushioning and outstanding bouncy energy return. The midsole provides a cushioned feel which is responsive to your every step enabling a higher energy transfer; for reduced fatigue as you run. The premium performance running platform delivers long-distance cushioned comfort with smooth transitions thanks to the cohesive action of Energy Foam, Reverse Camber, and the Glide Max TR's higher stack height. The midsole is inspired by Salomon's ski heritage using curved geometry giving you the feel of floating over the ground as you move for a unique running experience.

Featuring the Contagrip All Terrain outsole from Salomon, the Glide Max TR is designed to give you confidence on a wide variety of terrain. As well as this, the outsole provides exceptional durability for the trail so you can run with confidence in a shoe that is built to last. This ultimate all-purpose trail running outsole ensures a grip that adapts to all surfaces without sacrificing its durability. The Contagrip All Terrain provides outstanding traction on wet, dry, hard, and loose surfaces giving you stability whilst on the trail. The outsole is able to form a solid grip between the shoe and the terrain. When running on wet and muddy ground, the shoe's deep chevron lugs dig into the ground, anchoring you in place. This will also benefit you by acting as a solid base for you to push off from when taking a stride, as well as digging into the ground when braking and changing direction.
