Matryx Upper

The Salomon Vision has been constructed using a unique Matryx upper, to keep your feet protected, cool and comfortable on the trails. The materials are highly durable and abrasion-resistant, to protect your feet from knocks and bumps and provide you with a long-lasting pair of shoes that you can rely on. The fabrics are highly breathable to help prevent overheating and keep feet cool and cosy on long trail adventures, whilst moisture-wicking properties reduce the build-up of sweat and moisture, keeping feet dry on the move. Strategically placed overlays further protect the shoes from damage and keep your feet shielded from rocks and debris. The shoes have a cushioned tongue and collar to keep you comfortable, reducing the risks of irritation and keeping your feet secure. Working alongside this, the Quicklace system allows you to make changes to the fit of the shoes with ease, further keeping feet secure and locked in and preventing in-shoe slippage from occurring.

infiniFOAM Midsole

The Vision utilise an infiniFOAM midsole compound to ensure the shoes remain ultralight in weight, whilst also being ultra-soft in terms of the level of cushioning that's supplied. This soft midsole provides you with excellent levels of cushioning that won't sacrifice the energy return or responsiveness of the shoes, allowing you to clock miles in first-class comfort. The shoes have a TPU bottom unit, which has been constructed using sustainable resources and has been moulded to match the contours of your foot to provide superior cushioning as well as enhance breathability and durability.

Contagrip Outsole

Providing you with an unmatched level of grip and traction on varied terrain, the Salomon Vision feature an ultra-grippy Contagrip outsole. This outsole will not only form a solid grip between the shoe and the terrain but will work to shed mud quickly. This is due to their large lugs, therefore providing you with the perfect level of grip on all types of terrain, including wet and muddy conditions thanks to their deep lugs, which dig into the ground, anchoring you in place. This will benefit you by acting as a solid base for you to push off from when taking the next stride, as well as digging into the ground when braking or changing direction.
