Breathable Mesh Upper

Providing comfort and support on your running adventures, the DRX DEFY GRVL utilises a breathable mesh upper. The lightweight, soft upper provides feet with outstanding breathability to prevent feet from overheating on the roads and uses a minimal seam construction to reduce the risks of irritation or chafing from occurring when you're running. Ensuring a secure footing and keeping feet comfortable, the upper utilises a SensiFit construction which wraps your foot securely to hold it in place and create a snug feeling all around your foot making it a great running buddy. Stynthetic overlays feature in areas of the shoes that are usually high-wearing, to keep the shoes well-protected from knocks and bumps. With a plush fit, the shoes have a soft padded tongue and collar zone that cradles your foot for comfort when running and during step-in. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system that keeps your foot secure and locked in, preventing in-shoe slippage from occurring.

Energy Foam Midsole

The shoes utilise Salomon's lightweight and extremely responsive Energy Foam, to provide feet with premium cushioning and excellent rebound providing you with a dynamic running experience. This soft, cushioned midsole propels you forward into each stride for comfortable, bouncy strides. The midsole also provides shock-absorbing properties to reduce the impact when striking down onto harder, more unforgiving surfaces and helps to reduce risks of injury or discomfort from this. Working alongside this, the shoes utilise an activeCHASSIS system which channels your body's natural movement, bringing light guidance at the rear and a balanced, natural stride, further keeping your foot stable and reduce injuries.

GravelGrip Outsole

Inspired by gravel bike treads, the DRX DEFY GRVL utilises a GravelGrip outsole. This is designed to provide outstanding grip and traction across asphalt surfaces and gravel surfaces alike and allow transitions to be smooth and steady. The rubber is also extremely durable and abrasion-resistant, to ensure you are guaranteed long-term control. 2.5mm grippy lugs adorn the outsole to ensure optimum grip on the surface below.
