Saucony Hurricane ISO 4 Running Shoes
Introducing the successor to the Hurricane ISO 3 which raises the bar, the Hurricane ISO 4. This updated running shoe features a full-length EVERUN midsole and topsole for enhanced energy return continuous cushioning for every run and ISOFIT dynamic lacing adapts to the motion of the runner's foot.
Engineered Mesh Upper
The upper of the Hurricane ISO 4 has been constructed using durable, engineered mesh. The mesh adds structure and comfort to the upper as well as providing exceptional moisture-wicking properties. Excess sweat and moisture are actively and efficiently wicked away, leaving your feet cool, dry and comfortable as you strive for the best results and performance. Additionally, cool air is encouraged to circulate, creating a drier, healthier environment for your feet to thrive. Working in tandem with the engineered mesh is Saucony's signature ISOFIT technology which creates a dynamic fit by adapting to the shape and motion of the runner's foot. Furthermore, dynamic lacing enhances the fit and offers a secure, locked-in feel as you run. Synthetic overlays guard against friction and abrasion, improving the protection and feel of the shoe.
EVERUN Midsole
Featuring EVERUN construction where the topsole layer positions Saucony's best cushioning material closer to the foot, combining smoother landings in the heel with reduced pressure in the forefoot. This produces a dramatically, livelier and more responsive feel with 83% energy return and it maintains properties three times longer than standard EVA. The Hurricane ISO 4 provides plush cushioning which provides the utmost comfort to the wearer. The underfoot feel and amount of impact protection provided by the compressing materials between the foot and running surface. Stability support is given to the Saucony Hurricane, as it is engineered for moderate pronation, ensuring the most efficient gait possible.
Injection Blown Rubber Outsole
The outsole is made with IBR+ (Injection Blown Rubber) which combines Saucony's proprietary compound with a manufacturing process that results in less waste and better resilience. Rubber liquid is moulded, rather than cut for higher consistency and durability. It is 33% lighter and provides more cushioning compared to standard blown rubber and is strategically placed in the outsole zones where cushioning and the response is paramount. The Tri-Flex technology, also located in the outsole, works with the Everun topsole for increased force dispersion over a greater surface area while also delivering optimal flexibility and traction. It also ensures pressure distribution and propulsion at toe off to give you a head start.
