Breathable Mesh Upper

Surrounding the upper of the Triumph 17, there is a breathable mesh which will allow a constant flow of air in and out. As you start your run, and your heart rate increases the feet will begin to warm up. As a result, the air within the shoe will start to warm up, and the breathable mesh will allow it to escape out of the shoe. This will then be replaced by cooler air from outside, keeping you feeling cool and ventilated over a long period of time, which will keep you feeling comfortable. The material on the upper is able to stretch without any lasting damage to it being caused, which will also make you feel completely unrestricted through your gait cycle. Thicker material covers the toes, which provides them with complete protection from any bumps or knocks that you might receive. A firm structure also surrounds the shoe sides, which will hold the feet in a strong and upright position, reducing the risk of injuries from occurring with its strong structure. A traditional lacing system and a soft padded tongue will mean that you will always be able to find a firm and comfortable fit. PWRRUN+ Midsole

Using their brand new innovative PWRRUN+ in the Triumph 17, Saucony has developed a midsole that will give you the next generation of cushioning. The PWRRUN+ midsole is 25% lighter than the previous lightest midsole, which will dramatically lower the weight of the shoe. As well as this, the midsole is three more durable than previous midsoles, which will improve the long-term functionality of the shoe, making it always feel the same mile after mile. The EVA used at the top of the midsole is extremely soft, and all impacts will be absorbed instantly and effectively, delivering an extremely plush ride which will reduce fatigue and make sure that you be protected from injuries. With double the amount of flexibility than previous Saucony midsoles, this will improve the responsiveness of the shoe, giving you an added spring in your step to push you on faster. The high-performing material within the midsole is also three times less heat sensitive than previous midsoles, which will mean that no matter what time of the year or what conditions you are running in, the midsole will always deliver a premium performance.

Durable Rubber Outsole

The extremely durable and firm outsole will keep you in complete control on the roads. The rubber is able to form a solid connection with a wide range of different surfaces, which will give you one less thing to worry about. The strong connection with the ground will also provide a firm base for you to push off from, making your gait cycle more efficient. The multi-directional grooves are placed strategically to further secure your feet to the ground, and will also improve efficiency in take offs, landings and changes of direction. The rubber is also extremely durable and abrasion resistant, which will protect itself over a long period of time.
