Saucony Guide 17 Women's Running Shoes
New era support built with comfort first protection. The Guide 17's broader platform and higher sidewalls cushion and guide your gait.
Redesigned Mesh Upper
The Guide 17 will ensure you remain cool and comfortable on your run with a new redesigned mesh upper. For a full transformation from the ground up, the Guide 17 features an updated breathable mesh upper, allowing air to flow freely through the shoes to keep your feet cosy and maintain a comfortable temperature from the start to the finish of your run. The upper is moisture-wicking, meaning sweat will be removed efficiently from the surface of your skin, allowing your feet to stay dry. Further enhancing the upper, are the engineered 3D overlays that provide strategic flexibility and strengthen the structure of the shoe. Finishing the upper is a secure lacing system that locks down the midfoot, helping you lace up with peace of mind that you are securely positioned on the platform.
PWRRUN Midsole
Using even more of their innovative PWRRUN midsole in the Guide 17, Saucony have developed a midsole that will give you the next generation of cushioning. PWRRUN provides lightweight and springy cushioning to keep your feet comfortable at all times with just the right amount of softness, yet stays responsive enough to tackle as many miles as you wish. A broader platform and higher side walls put a focus on comfort and protection, whilst an asymmetric profile helps guide you through your gait. The CenterPath technology is a geometry that keeps your feet straight and level, resisting medial motion for a ride that hugs the road. A PWRRUN+ sockliner further ups the cushioning, providing step-in comfort.
XT-900 Outsole
Developed to be hardwearing and grippy, the outsole of the Guide 17 has been constructed using a durable carbon rubber. This outsole offers exceptional traction and durability so you can continue with complete confidence. The rubber is able to form a solid connection with a wide range of different surfaces, giving you one less thing to worry about. The strong connection with the ground will also provide a firm base for you to push off from, making your gait cycle more efficient. Reinforced in high-wear areas the outsole will withstand long-lasting wear. Lastly, multi-directional grooves are placed strategically to further secure your feet to the ground, and will also improve efficiency in takeoffs, landings, and changes of direction.
