GORE-TEX Upper

Found within the upper of the Tellus is a GORE-TEX membrane that will guard against the entry of moisture. When exposed to moisture, the membrane will immediately work by blocking it from entering the inside of the boots. This will mean that any molecules will roll off the boot, ensuring a dry and comfortable feel on the inside. Despite sealing the moisture out, the membrane will still allow air to enter and exit through the upper of the boot. This will mean that you will always feel ventilated and comfortable, no matter how intense your activity has become. The upper is firm, but will still allow stretch upon every step that you take. This will mean that you will be free to flex without causing damage to the material. Thick material covers the toes and the heels to prevent any injuries being caused by any bumps or knocks. As well as this, the strong overlays will provide support and structure to the boots. An easily secured lacing system will allow you to tighten the fit all the way up the foot. This will leave you with a comfortable and personalised fit. A soft and padded tongue sits comfortably on the ankle, whilst the high-rising boot will guard against any dirt and debris from entering and causing discomfort.

Dual-Density EVA Midsole

With a dual-density midsole the Tellus GORE-TEX will provide you with supreme comfort and protection. This is because the midsole has different characteristics. At the bottom of the midsole, the EVA is extremely densely packed. This will mean that all shocks and heavy impacts are attenuated instantly and effectively, stopping the forces from reaching the sole of the foot. Additionally, the EVA is able to transfer this energy into rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. Towards the top of the midsole, the EVA changes, as it is softer and less dense. This will mean that on every step you will feel a soft cushioned feel, making the first step of the day feel as comfortable as the last one. Underneath the heel, the shoe uses the Heel Tension System. This offers great stability and adaptability to the severe stress derived from steep routes. The particular design and the TPU material help the upper responsively, avoiding torsional twists and makes walking easier even on difficult and rough terrains.

Vibram Energy Outsole

Exceptional grip is provided by the new lightweight Vibram Energy outsole, which keeps you firmly planted on the path. The durable rubber is abrasion-resistant and is able to form a solid connection between the boot and ground across a wide range of volatile terrain.
