Scarpa Rush Trail GORE-TEX Walking Shoes
The RUSH TRAIL GTX walking shoe combines durability, comfort, structure and stability with the versatility and dynamism of the RUSH platform. This is the low cut version of the RUSH TRK. It is a walking shoe made in the name of comfort with technologies able to help reduce foot fatigue during hiking, a combination between agility and protection.
GORE-TEX Upper
The upper of the Rush Trail Walking Shoes provide the perfect balance of lightweight comfort and durable waterproof protection. A GORE-TEX membrane surrounds the upper of the shoes, which will mean that all moisture is blocked from entering. This makes it perfect for wet days on the trails, as the membrane will keep you dry and focused. The lightweight construction will allow you to push yourself faster than ever before, with little to cause you to slow down as a result of drag or excessive weight. The material itself will wick moisture away from the surface, which will, in turn, keep the shoe feeling lightweight and comfortable in wet conditions. The strength of the material will mean that it won't rip or be damaged when all sorts of forces are placed against it. A firm forefoot area will protect the toes from any damage, keeping you protected at all times. A TPU heel stabiliser will keep the rearfoot protected whilst remaining lightweight. As well as this, the midfoot has exceptional support provided to it. Corded speed lace loops will make it quick and easy to secure the fit to feel personalised and comfortable. A SockFit construction of the upper will mould to your foot shape to keep you feeling comfortable at all times. A soft padded tongue removes the risk of irritation being caused to the ankle, whilst it also acts as a block for debris. A TPU abrasion film coating will remove the risk of damage being caused by any bumps or knocks.
EVA Midsole
A compressed EVA platform resides underfoot for lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces. Exceptionally lightweight, the EVA ensures long-lasting cushioning to keep you comfortable on long-distance days. EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. Energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. The midsole ensures you're ready for the unpredictable trails and tough terrain. Completing the midsole is an Ortholite performance insole that provides added underfoot comfort and increased breathability so you can go further for longer in complete comfort.
Scarpa IKS Outsole
Exceptional grip and control are guaranteed in a wide range of different terrains, and on different surfaces with the IKS outsole. The rubber is able to form a solid connection to the ground which will create strong traction. This will keep you under control when taking on technical paths and trails. The rubber is abrasion-resistant, which will retain its shape and definition despite being put under the test of hard and rough surfaces. This will mean that the long-term functionality of the outsole is maintained well. Lugs and grooves will provide extra grip, especially in wet conditions, by anchoring the feet in place to provide a strong base to push on from.
