Ripstop Upper
The upper of the Rush Trek Walking boots provides the perfect balance of lightweight comfort and durable waterproof protection. A GORE-TEX membrane surrounds the upper of the boots, which means that all moisture is blocked from entering. This makes it perfect for wet days on the trails, as the membrane will keep you dry and focused. The lightweight construction will allow you to push yourself faster than ever before, with little to cause you to slow down as a result of drag or excessive weight. The ripstop material itself will wick moisture away from the surface, which will, in turn, keep the boot feeling lightweight and comfortable in wet conditions. The strength of the material will mean that it won't rip or be damaged when all sorts of forces are placed against it. A firm forefoot area will protect the toes from any damage, keeping you protected at all times. Corded speed lace loops will make it quick and easy to secure the fit to feel personalised and comfortable. A SockFit construction of the upper will mould to your foot shape to keep you feeling comfortable at all times. A soft padded tongue removes the risk of irritation being caused to the ankle, whilst it also acts as a block for debris. A TPU abrasion film coating will remove the risk of damage being caused by any bumps or knocks. The Autofit collar ensures maximum adaptability and comfort of the upper, reducing the impact stress that rests on the Achilles.
EVA Midsole
A compressed EVA platform resides underfoot for lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down on hard, unforgiving surfaces. Exceptionally lightweight, the EVA ensures long-lasting cushioning to keep you comfortable on long-distance days. EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. The energy produced from this will also be returned as a rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. The midsole ensures you're ready for unpredictable trails and tough terrain. Completing the midsole is an Ortholite performance insole which provides added underfoot comfort and increased breathability so you can go further for longer in complete comfort.
PRESA Outsole
The PRESA outsole is made with a high-grip and durable compound, pronounced heel and hiking-oriented lugs, which promote braking on descents and grip on climbs. This will keep you under control when taking on technical paths and trails. The rubber is abrasion-resistant, which will retain its shape and definition despite being put to the test of hard and rough surfaces. In addition, the IKS (Interactive Kinetic System) technology, characterized by 5 shock-absorbing areas (domes), progressively and specifically supports the weight of your body during activity in the mountains.
