Inspired by Scarpa's approach shoe expertise, the Mescalito GORE-TEX takes it to the next level with a dual-density PU midsole for long-lasting support and cushioning, whilst a Vibram outsole will stand up against the toughest trails you encounter. The durable suede upper is supportive and backed by Gore-tex for guaranteed waterproof protection and features a stretch fabric collar and flex-zone for high-mileage comfort that lasts.

Perwanger Suede Upper

Accompanying you on long, rocky trail adventures, the Mescalito Trek GORE-TEX features a durable Perwanger Suede Upper. This provides feet with ample protection from bumps, scrapes and bashes on the trails, whilst ensuring warmth and comfort across long hiking adventures. The suede upper features a soft, durable outer construction that is super long-lasting and highly reliable for rocky retreats, whilst the consistent surface grain is super water-resistant to protect feet from light rain and water. A toe bumper features to provide you with optimum protection and shielding from knocks, bumps and nashes on the trail. The leather is backed by GORE-TEX Bluesign, offering exceptional protection against poor and changing weather conditions. It keeps feet dry from the wet and soggy ground while providing outstanding breathability to ensure a cool and fresh feeling, allowing for distraction-free strides. Moisture-wicking properties reduce the risks of overheating or a build-up of sweat and moisture when traversing tricky trails, keeping you focused on the hike ahead. The walking boots feature Schoeller Dynatic fabrics in the collar and flex zones. The materials regulate your temperature for optimum in-shoe comfort and incorporate a special wind and waterproof "smart" membrane with C-CHANGE technology. C-CHANGE adapts to the environmental conditions around it to allow more or less moisture to pass through, optimising your comfort when wearing. Featuring Scarpa's SOCK-FIT system, the boots are constructed with a single piece of elastic fabric that wraps the top of your foot, offering a snug, mid-foot fit and extra lateral stability, whilst simultaneously reducing the overall weight and bulk of the shoes. Traditional laces with eyelets provide a locked-in secure fit and help to prevent in-shoe slipping from occurring.

Dual-Density PU Midsole

For a soft, comfortable landing and optimum underfoot cushioning when travelling across changing and tricky conditions, the Mescalito Trek GORE-TEX utilises a dual-density PU midsole. This comfortable cushioning provides energy underfoot for bouncy strides, alongside impact-absorbing properties to help reduce the risks of discomfort or injury. Working with this, a low-density PU provides excellent shock absorption and adaptability when exploring uneven terrain. A PU insert is provided for added structure and support underfoot providing comfort under heavier loads. Extra cushioning is provided thanks to the Orthoite footbed, which can easily be removed depending on your preferred underfoot sensation.

Vibram XS Trek Evo Outsole

For optimum grip and traction on the most challenging terrains and keeping the boots lightweight, the Mescalito Trek GORE-TEX features a durable, grippy Vibram XS Trek Evo outsole compound. Super durable and abrasive resistant, the outsole will form a solid connection with the changing surfaces on your trail adventures, to provide you with sure-footing and confident strides. A strategically designed tread structure has 4 areas of assistance, including push zone tread for support, a braking area at the heel for friction down hills, an area of maximum adherence at the toe, and a maximum stability zone along the centre.
