Suede and Mesh Slip-In Upper
The upper of the Slip-In Oak Canyon is made from a combination of suede and mesh. The mesh provides excellent levels of ventilation, allowing built-up heat and vapour to escape whilst permitting fresh air to flow in for a pleasant cooling sensation. Suede elements provide structure and durability, resisting damage from the trail to keep your feet and the shoe itself protected. The slip-in design makes on/off easy and hands-free, and the heel pillow works to hold the foot in place so you don't slip out. Stretch laces provide a locked-in feel whilst remaining comfortable. The upper has been built with a relaxed fit, meaning a roomier fit in the toe box for correct toe flex and improved comfort.
Cushioned Midsole
Providing feet with comfort and cosy underfoot cushioning, the shoes have a well-cushioned midsole compound. This keeps feet comfortable, providing you with a soft landing and helping to prevent the risks of discomfort when running. The shoes also feature an Air-Cooled Memory Foam midsole for extra cushioning, providing an energetic response, for bouncy steps. Additionally, the foam has shock-absorbing properties to help reduce risks of injury or discomfort when striking down on to hard surfaces.
Flexible Rubber Traction Outsole
Working with you as you walk the Slip-In Oak Canyon's have a flexible rubber outsole meaning there will be no lasting damage from excessive forces acting against it. The rubber itself is durable, which means that it will retain its shape and definition on tough terrain. Completing the outsole is multi-directional traction control that supports you on varied terrain and trail conditions. The outsole allows you to tackle any trail so that you are free to explore without hesitation when the trail becomes more challenging.
