Skechers GOrun Ride 9 Running Shoes
The versatile Skechers GOrun Ride 9 is the latest generation in the Skechers GOrun Ride series of lightweight, neutral, well-cushioned running shoes. Featuring a breathable engineered mesh upper with HYPER BURST cushioned midsole and Goodyear performance outsole.
Engineered Mesh Upper
The upper of the Skechers GOrun Ride 9 Women's Running Shoe is made with an ultra breathable engineered mesh. Micro perforations in the mesh allow heat and vapour to escape, whilst allowing fresh air to enter and circulate for a pleasant cooling sensation. The traditional lace closure anchors the shoe to the foot securely for increased stability and control, allowing you to take confident strides and the soft, padded tongue sits comfortably on the ankle, protecting your feet and ankles from lace pressure for increased levels of comfort.
HYPER BURST Midsole
The GOrun Ride 9 features the innovative HYPER BURST midsole, which offers a highly responsive and ultra-lightweight running experience. This innovative resilient foam is created using a 'Super Critical' process with spherically-shaped cells compressed into the midsole. The material will cushion each step, reducing impacts on joints like the knees and ankles to prevent fatigue and risk of injuries. The material will also absorb heavy impacts from below, preventing them from reaching the sole of the foot and causing damage.
Goodyear Performance Outsole
Using a Goodyear Performance outsole, guarantees complete control and traction on hard ground. The rubber is able to form a solid connection with a wide range of wet and dry surfaces, keeping you fully in control at all times. Able to stand up against abuse, the rubber is abrasion-resistant and will maintain its shape and definition over a long period of time. A specific design on the outsole provides targeted grip to further anchor you in place, making take-offs and landings feel more controlled. Forefoot flex grooves improve the flexibility of the shoe, allowing you to take longer strides without the risk of damage.
