The lightweight, shell jacket offers full-bore rain protection, feature-packed details and is easy to stash in your pack. Salewa have named it after the magnificent Moiazza Massif in the heart of the Dolomites, with its imposing towers, rock walls and wild valleys.
Perfect for alpine trekking, the Moiazza GORE-TEX Jacket from Salewa is totally windproof and waterproof whilst remaining extremely breathable. Featuring soft-feel, matt lustre 2-layer GORE-TEX Paclite fabrics, the jacket is designed to block out all water, stopping it from penetrating the surface layer and causing discomfort. Despite preventing water from entering, air and moisture from inside the jacket are still able to find their way out, meaning that breathability is not compromised. This will allow a steady and constant airflow in and out, which will keep you feeling fresh and ventilated during high-intensity treks. The fabrics also have a durable water-repellent (DWR) treatment that is free from PFCs of environmental concern. All seams are welded for optimal weather protection and wind chill is kept out of the jacket for additional warmth and protection.
Including cord locks in the hood and hem, the Moiazza allows for quick, one-handed adjustments and a high integrated collar provides extra weather protection at the neck. Two pockets offer secure storage for small essentials and are high-set so that you can easily access them whilst wearing a pack. The full-length front zip features an external storm flap for enhanced weather protection and velcro adjustable cuffs provide a customisable fit. Ergonomic sleeves and shoulders ensure an excellent fit that does not restrict your reach and mobility whilst reduced stitching feels comfortable as you move and gives a cleaner, elegant finish.
