Salewa Lite Train K Trail Running Shoes

Knitted Mesh Upper

Designed to be lightweight, protective and breathable, the upper of the Salewa Lite Train K Trail Running Shoes has been constructed using an knitted mesh. The knitted upper works to provide lightweight breathability and protection to keep your feet safe on rocky terrains. Acting as a lightweight second skin the knit ensures you are able to go the distance in complete comfort. Perforations in the fabric encourage cool air to circulate, removing uncomfortable heat build-up to create a healthy environment for your foot to thrive in. The shoe uses Salewa's 3F System to further improve the fit. This system will improve the flexibility of the upper, which also providing support and a blister-free fit, which will dramatically improve the experience of wearing the shoes, removing irritations and distractions that come with an uncomfortable fit. Completing the upper is a lacing system which locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.

EVA Midsole

A full-length platform of EVA resides underfoot for lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces. Exceptionally lightweight, the EVA ensures long-lasting cushioning to keep you comfortable on long distance days. EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. Energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. The midsole ensures you're ready for the unpredictable trails and tough terrain. As well as this, an Ortholite insole completes the midsole by providing added under foot comfort. The ortholite footbed wicks moisture away efficiently and effectively, as well as providing a comfortable and soft surface for the sole of the foot.

Michellin Rubber Outsole

Developed using a Michellin Rubber outsole, the Salewa Lite Train K provides extreme grip and traction for all surface wear. Developed for extremely slippery terrain, the extremely durable rubber can form a solid bond with the ground to anchor you in place. Despite facing abuse from rough ground, the rubber stands up against this, deflecting the blows and retaining a strong shape and structure. The aggressive lugged outsole ensures perfect traction, so you can concentrate on your training and enjoy the mountains, whether rapid hiking, technical trail running or uphill interval training. Fitted with its special Outdoor Compound which has a sculpted and grooved design, inspired by mountain biking tires, that deliver excellent slope-crossing traction and optimal adaptability on soft and uneven terrain.
