Designed to provide comfort in all the elements, the Sprayway Torridon Jacket features a three-layer GORE-TEX membrane. To meet the demands of anyhting the outdoors throws at it, the fabrication works to protect against harsh winds and rain ensuring you remain warm, dry and comfortable at all times. This durable layer provides supreme waterproofing, which will make sure that you will always stay dry in light or heavy rain. As well as being protected from moisture, the fabric is also windproof, which means that heavy gusts are blocked from reaching the skin, which would also make you begin to feel cold. As the body begins to sweat, or when you start to overheat, the fabric allows there to be a steady airflow in and out of the jacket, which will work to keep the body feeling cool and comfortable. The GORE-TEX fabrication provides the perfect balance of breathability and protection to bring you a jacket that will perform over and over again. Furthermore, the three layers of the fabric increase overall durability and protection ensuring peace of mind when out in the hills.
A fully adjustable hood with a wired peak is quick and easy to use, so when the rain starts to fall, you can shape the hood and cover your head quickly and with little hassle. It also features a roll away tab which neatly stores your hood when not in use. Additionally, a two-way full-zip exists for complete temperature control, it can be worn up to seal in the heat and zipped down to release an intolerable heat build-up plus, a double storm guard provides added protection by preventing weather entry through the zip. As well as this, two-way pit zips also exist to provide ventilation should you need it. The pit zips sit under the arms and can be opened in hotter climates to increase airflow and ventilation. The hem has an adjustable drawcord, which makes tightening and loosening to size easy to achieve. This can be adjusted to make it more comfortable, or to block wind from entering the jacket and causing discomfort. Velcro cuffs on the wrist mean that you can tighten and loosen them to retain heat, as well as changing them if they are causing you discomfort. On the front of the jacket, 2 zippered hand pockets are perfect for cold winter days or if you need a place to stash a few essential items or they are big enough to store a map. As well as this, an inner zipped pocket and a inner stretch mesh pocket provide added storage space for your valuable items.
