Tenaya Tanta Climbing Shoes

A slightly curved shoe utilising Tenaya's M4 technology. Taking the technology from their top-of-the-range models, the Tanta provides you with outstanding comfort and excellent performance. They have a moderately downturned toe, and a velcro closure system for adaptability on a range of widths. Microfibre Upper

The Tanta features a microfibre upper to enhance the longevity and durability of the shoes, supplying you with a reliable pair of shoes that will keep you protected on the rocks. The materials are flexible allowing you to traverse across the rocks comfortably, without restriction. Rubber reinforcements add extra levels of abrasion resistance and superior edging capabilities, for increased support on small edges and durability in high-wearing areas. The abrasion-resistant materials, shield the shoes from bumps and scrapes across the rocks when you're climbing. The climbing shoes have a TXT-treated cotton lining that adds in-shoe comfort, providing a soft, irritation-free wearing experience. Additionally, the shoes have moisture-wicking, breathable properties that reduce overheating and the build-up of sweat and moisture by allowing airflow to travel through the shoes. This helps remove moisture from the surface of your skin, keeping your feet dry during intense climbing sessions. The downturned toebox and triple-layered bellows tongue provide you with a wide opening, making it easier to get the shoes on and off quickly. Finally, the shoes have a velcro closure system to keep feet locked in and secure, preventing in-shoe slipping from occurring and helping to provide a great fit for all foot shapes.

2D PLT 10 Midsole

For comfort when scrambling rocks and climbing indoor walls, the shoes have a 2D PLT 10 midsole. This midsole is soft, yet robust for optimum compatibility when climbing. The stiff nature of the midsole allows your feet to enhance performance on a wide range of angles and features of the rocks. A multi-layer Stretchtex insole also adds extra in-shoe comfort to keep you focused on the climb ahead. This four micro-layer insole is perfect for distributing force, so you can get an even foothold and keep you comfortable underfoot.

Durable Rubber Outsole

To ensure exceptional levels of grip and traction when you're climbing, the Tanta has a 4mm rubber outsole. This outsole ensures a sticky grip on a diverse range of surfaces, ensuring that feet remain secure and you remain confident when adventuring the walls or rocks. Due to its rigidity and sensitivity, the outsole is highly durable and provides you with the support you need when traversing from rock to rock. This sensitive construction also transfers information about the shapes and characteristics of the foothold to you, so you feel as though you have closer contact with the rock.
