Providing excellent performance on wet surfaces, the Hydratrek Sandals utilise a new innovative technology alongside a grippy outsole pattern.
Quick-Dry Webbing Upper
Keeping feet cool, dry and comfortable, the sandals have a Quick-Dry webbing upper constructed from recycled plastics, and REPREVE polyester yarns, providing a more sustainable choice of footwear. This combination of materials supplies your feet with optimum comfort, supporting your feet, and protecting them from knocks and bumps on the trails. The straps have 60% recycled polyester padding to prevent any discomfort, irritation or abrasion from occurring against the skin. The webbing has moisture-wicking properties, to keep feet dry, preventing a build-up of sweat and moisture. So that you can make quick and easy changes to the fit of the shoes, the sandals have multiple points of adjustment, and a hook-and-loop closure, also allowing you to take the shoes on and off with ease.
Recycled EVA Midsole
Supplying your feet with maximum, lightweight comfort, the Hydratrek Sandals have a 30% recycled EVA midsole. The midsole works to absorb shock and impact when stepping, to help reduce the risk of injuries or discomfort, whilst providing great energy return. The heavily textured topsole keeps you locked in, providing a great level of grip between your foot and the sandal. This works especially well in wet conditions and provides excellent stability when out on the trails.
Spider Rubber Outsole
A new technology design, the Hydratrek Sandals utilise their innovative 30% recycled Spider Rubber outsole, a high-performing rubber compound, with uniquely designed channels, that provide an optimum level of grip on wet surfaces. The grippy outsole pattern was inspired by tree frog traction, with tightly spaced lugs, to maximise the surface that remains in contact with the ground, making it the perfect river-day companion.
