Lightweight, stable and comfortable, the Altamesa 300 is an everyday trail-running shoe for enthusiasts of all levels.

Engineered Mesh Upper

The upper has been built using a seamless, lightweight mesh for highly ventilated comfort. It is engineered using 53% recycled materials for an ethical choice, and the comfort-focused fit in the toe box with increased space for the big and pinky toes allows for toe-splay for a more pleasant wearing experience. The plush heel cup and collar offer high-level comfort and heel lockdown, working with the traditional lacing system to find the perfect fit. Further improving the fit, internal stability wings at the third eyelet also assist in lockdown, and the reinforced internal heel counter provides rear foot stability. A reinforced and protective toe cap and lace guides keep feet shielded and supported. The gear-inspired pull-tab webbing at the heel allows for ease of entry.

EVA Midsole

The midsole is constructed from a lightweight and bouncy EVA to provide softness and responsiveness underfoot. It provides high rebound, using the energy produced upon footstrike to power you into your next one, helping feet stay energised for longer and allowing you to get that flying feeling out on the trail. The 25mm of cushioning under the heel feels plush and attenuates shock as you strike down, protecting your joints, and the 6mm drop helps to propel you forward. This is combined with the dynamic stability zone in the forefoot, which is designed to provide inherent stability on the trail, allowing you greater confidence out on the trail. Finally, the midsole is finished with a SKYCORE rock guard that provides light and flexible rock protection below the forefoot.

SURFACE CTRL Rubber Outsole

Designed to be hardwearing and grippy, the Altamesa 300s have been developed using the signature SURFACE CTRL Rubber Outsole. This bio-based outsole rubber compound has been specially designed to ensure superior traction on both wet and dry surfaces. Not only this, but it also works to ensure multi-directional traction on a wide range of surfaces and will withstand even the toughest trails yet whilst being flexible enough to adapt to multiple terrains, providing you with complete control. The durable rubber works to protect itself from damage, and protect users from losing control and slipping and has been designed to hold firm on uneven terrain so you can have complete confidence on the toughest terrains. 4mm lugs further bite into the earth, helping you with those quick, decisive moves when hurtling up and down hill and turning at speed.
