The North Face Assault 2 FUTURELIGHT Tent

The Assault 2 FUTURELIGHT Tent features a new design and FUTURELIGHT technology. This tent is the star of the range when it comes to 3-season, single-wall tents.

The adventure doesn't have to stop when the sun goes down with this handy tent. It's engineered for high-altitude mountaineering and extreme expeditions. The tent is built with breathable, waterproof and recycled nylon material with 3-layer FUTURELIGHT technology and a PFC-free DWR. It keeps you dry whilst allowing built-up heat and vapour to escape. The carbon fibre Easton Syclone poles are lightweight and strong for their weight and can withstand blustery winds. And thanks to internal poles and the easy pitch X tent design, it's quick and simple to set up (and has a reduced pole-sleeve weight), even when the weather isn't behaving. The ridge-pole design makes it easy to tension the top of the tent and take the pole in and out, and the vestibule is removeable should you wish. A single front door and escape-hatch back door allow you entry, and dual top vents increase breathability and stability. The tent features ample tabs for hanging stoves, drying lines and gear lofts. It is finished with Lightrange, a ultra-light, highly breathable UPF performance fabric that provides UV defence without weighing you down.
