Built to insulate, the Gilet uses 2X 20K Stretch fabric, a material designed by 2XU to provide comfort and protection. The innovative 20K moisture management coupled with 20K waterproofing will seal the wind out, to keep your body warm and comfortable in all conditions. With the moisture management and waterproofing features, this will also mean that wet conditions won't cause to you feel uncomfortable as it will be wicked away immediately. To further help with moisture removal for a dry and comfortable feel, the gilet has Sensor Mesh, a fibre matrix with high filament hydrophilic nylon yarn and optimal airflow engineering. This will provide exceptional efficiency in moisture management. The soft nature of the fabric sits comfortably against the skin to reduce the risks of chafing and irritation. The lightweight fabric can also be packed down easily for easy storage. The under arms have been constructed using a breathable mesh which increases ventilation to keep you comfortable and cool at all times. The mesh allows cool air to flow into the garment whilst, at the same time allowing hot, humid air to escape. This creates a perfect microclimate for your skin to thrive in. The full zip is extremely easy to adjust when on your bike and on the move to allow more air in should you feel too warm. Flat-lying seams within the gilet will remove the risk of irritation being caused by rubbing and chafing.
