Moulded Textile Upper
Helping you glide past opponents, the upper of the HOVR Havoc 2 is constructed from an extremely lightweight moulded textile for enhanced comfort and durability. This will reduce the amount of drag on the feet, which will leave you feeling lightfooted. The material on the upper of the shoe allows a steady airflow in and out, which means that as you become more active, the build-up of warm air and sweat is able to escape, being replaced by cool air from outside of the shoe. For firm support and extended stability, there is a half bootie construction which runs up to the ankle. This will keep your feet held in a strong and upright position, giving you strength as well as reducing the risk of injuries from occurring. The webbed lacing system will allow you to create a locked-in, customised fit, whilst the durable lace loops will allow you to tighten the shoe without worrying about causing damage. A traditional mesh tongue construction allows for ease of entry and comfort.
UA HOVR Midsole
Within the midsole, UA HOVR Technology is used which provides a 'zero-gravity feel' to maintain energy return and helps to eliminate impact step after step. The compression mesh energy web contains and moulds the UA HOVR foam to give back the energy that you put in, pushing you further on the court. Within the shoe, there is an EVA sock liner. This will further increase cushioning and support to the feet, for maximum comfort. A midfoot TPU shank wraps under the foot for extra lateral stability, supporting the foot where you need it most and helping to prevent injury.
Durable Rubber Outsole
The rubber outsole will ensure that you stay in control of your game. The rubber is abrasion-resistant, and it will be able to stand up to abuse from heavy contact and wear. As well as this, the rubber will form a strong bond with the court surface, reducing the chance of you slipping and losing your footing. Using a herringbone traction pattern, this outsole pattern will give you maximum floor control and grip. This will give you more control in takeoffs, landing and sudden changes of direction.
