Water Repellent Upper
Designed to provide comfort and protection, the Under Armour HOVR Infinite 2 Storm Running Shoes are the perfect winter running shoe. Featuring Under Armour signature storm technology, the Infinite 2 works to repel light rain and snow to keep you comfortable and dry when the weather takes a turn for the worst. As well as this, the mesh upper increases breathability so you can remain cool and comfortable when your training session heats up. The mesh allows air to constantly flow in and out of the mesh, which will remove all of the warm air produced from exercise, replacing it with cooler air from outside, providing a cycle of ventilation. Once your foot begins to sweat, the mesh will allow the moisture to escape out of the shoe. Once wicked away, the material will dry off quickly, returning the shoe to its original weight and feel. Thicker material covers the forefoot, which will absorb shocks instantly, preventing them from reaching and damaging the toes. For rearfoot protection and durability, there is an internal heel counter. This will provide additional support, keeping your foot in a firm and upright position, and it will keep the rearfoot locked in place. The laces are elasticated and are easy to tighten and loosen all the way up the foot for a secure fit. A soft padded tongue will make the fitting feel extremely comfortable.
HOVR Technology Midsole
Designed to give you a 'zero-gravity feel' over the course of a long or short run, the HOVR technology midsole will work to eliminate the feel of impact on every step that you take. At the bottom of the midsole, the EVA will absorb shocks instantly and effectively. Once shocks are absorbed, the midsole will return the energy, as the midsole has a compression-mesh Energy Web. Moulded EVA foam will give you back the energy that you put in. This will propel you, giving you an added spring in your step. The further up the midsole you go, the EVA changes in that it is less densely packed. The result of this will be supreme cushioning which will last all day. Within the shoe, there is a die-cut full length EVA sockliner. Over the course of time, the sockliner will mould to your foot's shape, which will provide personalised comfort, as well as holding you in a stable position.
Durable Rubber Outsole
The rubber used on the outsole is extremely durable and abrasion resistant. This will protect the shoe, and the outsole's durability over a long course of time, increasing the shoe's longevity. The rubber is able to form a solid bond with the ground below. This will ensure that you will stay in complete control with a smooth and stable ride. Under the heel, there are strategically placed carbon-rubber traction pods under the heel of the outsole. This will further improve traction and improve durability in the vulnerable heel area that receives most of the shocks. Other high-impact zones have more solid protection which will provide greater durability at less of the weight. Deep flex grooves positioned down the outsole will improve and offer greater flexibilty, which will allow you to push yourself harder and further than ever before.
