Under Armour Speedform Miler 2 Running Spikes
Geared to provide the perfect ride for a sub-4 minute mile, the Under Armour Speedform Miler 2 grips it and rips it. With an identical spike plate and midsole design to the previous model, the new shoe has just as much traction and aggresive spring to propel the runner through their stride.
Speedform Upper
Using innovative UA Speedform on the upper moulds to your feet for a personalised fit and feel. This will guarantee exceptional comfort as well as making your that you will always feel in full control. The ultra-thin material on the upper will keep the overall weight of the shoes down to a minimum, giving you an extremely lightweight feel to allow you to explode into action sharply. Air is able to pass through the material, and this will mean that warm air that builds up within the shoes is able to escape out. Once it has been removed, cooler air can enter to keep you feeling ventilated and comfortable over a long period of time. Threadborne has also been used within the upper for a compression-like fit that ensures directional strength as you run. A flat-lying tongue will sit on the heel subtly, reducing the risk of irritation, whilst also allowing a wide range of movements without restriction. Lastly, a lacing system locks down the midfoot so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.
EVA Midsole
A comfortable level of cushioning is provided by the thin and lightweight midsole. EVA within the midsole will compress on every step, which will feel extremely soft and smooth under the feet. As a result of the cushioning, this will reduce the stress placed on joints like the knees and ankles for exceptional comfort. The midsole will also absorb heavy contacts with the track, preventing the heavy forces from reaching the sole of the feet for protection. To give you an added spring in your step, the midsole is extremely responsive, and with every stride that you take, you will get a bit back in the form of rebound.
6-Pin Outsole
A 3/4 length Pebax plate on the outsole is ultra-strong, flexible and lightweight for explosive propulsion. This ultra-strong construction is designed to give you the edge over the competition, by being extremely responsive on every step. The plate can bend with your feet, and it will then return to its original shape whilst giving you an extra zip and spring in your step. Especially effective in early parts of the race when you are flying out of the blocks. A 6-pin spike outsole will guarantee superb grip and traction on the traction. Positions strategically to guarantee effective grip, the spikes will hold you firmly in the ground. This will then mean that you will be able to have a more efficient push off on each step that you take. Race day is all about speed, and the Under Armour Speedform Milder 2 is made for race day.
