ON ROAD
Upper - Lightweight Support
The upper construction of the Stealth Running Shoe is a breathable V-Mesh, which allows ventilation to the interior to keep the foot cool through each stride. This coincides with a EVA cage which wraps the mesh for structural support from torsion, it allows full flexibility to the material while still maintaining its shape.
On the interior a Outlast Lining and Hydrophobic Mesh allow for the best outdoor experience. Outlast temperature regulating textiles offer more comfort through proactive heat management, retaining bodily heat to keep the foot warm and your blood pumping for an enhanced performance. The Hydroponic Mesh on the other hand provides a water-resistant environment to keep you dry and comfortable throughout your running regime.
Outsole - Balanced Traction
The Stealth Sole Unit consists of V Road engineering: a Hexagonal Two Tone Ultimate Barefoot Sole. Tuned for the road and treadmill this flexible, soft and wet/dry slip resistant sole lets your foot do its thing with pure sensory clarity, allowing you to utilise your motion control and engaging your Big Toe with the earth below. The outsole for the Stealth is also formed from Vivobarefoot's patented puncture resistant compound, which is risen from medial to lateral, supporting the midfoot section from oncoming debris.
With 200,000 nerve endings, 33 major muscles, 28 bones, 19 ligaments; the human foot is a biomechanical masterpiece.
No heel, no midsole, no arch support, no gimmicks! VIVOBAREFOOT helps encourages us to move as million years of evolution intended - barefoot. The VIVOBAREFOOT difference is in the sole. They make a series of constructions specifically designed for varying elements, terrains, and activities.
Many experts believe the shoes we wear not only cast the foot in a protective form, but can also weaken our foot and leg muscles, leaving them underdeveloped and more prone to injury. And while there are many occasions where traditional footwear is essential for protection, safety, and security, it is equally important to stimulate and exercise our feet in a more natural state on a regular basis.
