Knitted Upper
Designed using a knitted upper, the VivoBarefoot Primus Knit Walking Shoes ensure complete comfort for long adventures. The knitted construction sits comfortably against the skin and allows for ample ventilation. It flexes an moves with the natural motion of the feet to reduce the risks of chafing and irritation. Perforations within the fabric increase airflow to keep you comfortable and cool on any adventure. As well as this, the upper also features leather paneling which increases durability and support. The leather overlays reduce the risks of wear and tear giving you complete confidence on uneven terrain. Completing the upper is a lacing system which locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.
EVA Bloom
The midsole provides lightweight cushioning underfoot which in turn reduce the stress placed upon the feet and the joints. EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. Energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. The EVA bloom is also better for the environment than standard EVA. The high performance foam cleans and restores the environment when harvested making it more environmentally friendly than alternatives.
PRO5 Outsole
Despite being extremely thin, the outsole is ultra-tough which opens up opportunities to explore. The PRO5 outsole is five times more puncture resistant than a standard sole of equal thickness. The anti-abrasion rubber is also long-lasting, able to stand up for itself over a lengthy period of time. Within the sole there is a TPU compound. This lightweight and incredibly durable material maximises underfoot sensory clarity. Shallow but defined lugs are able to created a stronger bond of friction to the ground for greater traction and grip.
