VivoBarefoot Primus Lite II Recycled Women's Running Shoes
Wear your sustainability statement with the Primus Lite II, putting your feet in control of every run, walk and workout. This leather-free shoe is made using PET plastic bottles recycled into durable performance materials, to create lightweight and breathable movement. Less shoe and less weight mean more freedom to move.
Unlined Mesh Upper
Surrounding the upper of the shoe the Primus Lite II Recycled has breathable Eco Airmesh made from recycled PET bottles and laminated PU which will deliver a constant flow of air in and out of the shoe. This will mean that as soon as you start exercising cooler air is able to enter and ventilate the feet. This cycle will work to keep you feeling cool over a long period of time. As you begin to sweat, the material will naturally wick the moisture from sweat away. The toe and forefoot are protected by reinforced material, which will absorb bumps and knocks. A firm lacing system coupled with a flat-lying tongue will improve the fit as well as increasing comfort. The unlined mesh reduces the risk of chafing and skin irritation, for the most comfortable fit.
PRO5 Outsole
Delivering supreme grip and traction over a wide range of terrains, the Primus Lite II Recycled will keep you in firm control with the PRO5 outsole. The ultra-thin rubber protects itself against the uneven ground as it is abrasion resistant. In addition to this, the outsole is five times more puncture resistant than other similar models. The multi-directional design on the outsole will provide further grip and traction. The outsole and other parts of the shoe benefit from using recycled PET. This makes the shoes more sustainable, preventing plastic from ending up in oceans or landfills and giving it a second life.
