Designed for a dynamic look and feel, whilst also being an extremely sustainable option, the VivoBarefoot Geo Racer Running Shoes is made from repurposed plastic waste, resulting in a low-carbon impact shoe without any compromise.

Recycled Mesh Upper

The upper of the Geo Racer is constructed using recycled polyester, repurposing waste which would otherwise have no use. By doing this, VivoBarefoot have created a product that has given plastic a second life, making it extremely sustainable and green. The mesh itself is not compromised by this as it will perform extremely well to keep you feeling comfortable no matter what. The mesh is extremely breathable and will allow a constant flow of air in and out of it during activity. This means that warm air that builds up within is able to escape out, where it is then replaced by cooler air from the outside. This will improve comfort over a long period of time and during the course of your run, resulting in a distraction-free run. Moisture will also be encouraged to escape out of the shoe. This will mean that as your activity intensifies, the material will wick the moisture out extremely efficiently and effectively to keep you feeling dry and comfortable no matter what. The construction is also extremely lightweight and lean, allowing you to push on further and faster than ever before without any excess weight to hold you back. Firmer material surrounds vulnerable areas of the feet like the toes and the heels, whilst overlays on the side of the shoes will improve the strength and provide protection. A secure lacing system makes it easy to find the perfect personalised fit. A flat-lying tongue will sit comfortably on your ankle, removing the risk of irritation caused by rubbing and chafing. The shoe is made entirely using animal-free products and processes, making it vegan friendly.

EVA Bloom Midsole

Not only does the midsole of VivoBarefoot Geo Racer Shoes incraese underfoot cushioning but, it also works to aid flotation so you'll never feel dragged down. The midsole provides lightweight cushioning underfoot which in turn reduce the stress placed upon the feet and the joints. EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. Energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. The EVA bloom is also better for the environment than standard EVA. The high performance foam cleans and restores the environment when harvested making it more environmentally friendly than alternatives.

PRO5 Outsole

Delivering supreme grip and traction over a wide range of terrains, the Geo Racer will keep you in firm control with the PRO5 outsole. The ultra-thin rubber protects itself against the uneven ground as it is abrasion resistant. In addition to this, the outsole is five times more puncture resistant than other similar models. The multi-directional design on the outsole will provide further grip and traction. The outsole and other parts of the shoe benefit from using recycled PET. This makes the shoes more sustainable, preventing plastic from ending up in oceans or landfills and giving it a second life.
