STABILITY NEVER FELT BETTER

Maximum support. Maximum comfort. The GEL-KAYANO™ 30 offers amazing comfort in combination with incredible support. Compared to the 29, it sits on a higher stack, a bigger midsole platform with 20% more foam than its predecessor and is therefore softer underfoot. The increased surface area also helps to provide more stability underfoot.

Worth noting that the fit of the shoe remains a D width, it’s only the midsole platform that is wider.

The GEL-KAYANO™ 30 is essentially ASICS’ top end stability shoe, designed for overpronators. Over 70% of runners over-pronate to some degree, with the foot rolling inwards excessively through the footstrike, placing strain on the lower leg, knees, hips and lower back. That means most of us will find ourselves looking for a good support shoe to help slow down that excessive inwards movement.

1.     ADAPTIVE STABILITY

The GEL-KAYANO™ 30 addresses stability with a new 4D-Guidance system.

What does this mean?

It’s essentially ASIC’s latest approach to stabilizing the foot based on biomechanical research. It tackles 4 dimensions – Width, Length, Depth and Time and the medial foam unit helps return the arch to the ideal position ready for the next foot strike.

2.     MAXIMUM COMFORT

The integration of FF Blast+ ECO foam for soft energetic cushioning. Like the new GEL-NIMBUS™ 25, this shoe uses PureGEL technology that improves softness and shock absorption as well as underfoot feel. It’s over 65% softer than previously used Gels and this helps to create an incredible comfortable and pleasant running experience.

3.     SUSTAINABILITY

FF Blast + ECO foam is ASICS’ most sustainable foam to date. Utilizing 20-30% of natural (sustainable) substitutes to replace a chemical component. This is combined with high levels of recycled materials used for the upper mesh.
