BREATHABLE KNIT UPPER

The HOKA Cielo X1 has been designed to provide strategic support while remaining highly breathable for fresh-feeling feet so that you can focus on the miles ahead. The knit upper and collar work together to deliver lightweight breathability that won't hold you back on race day whilst an asymmetrical gusseted knit tongue provides easy entry with a locked-in feel that sits comfortably against the foot. A traditional lacing system locks down the midfoot whilst an asymmetric gusseted tongue allows for easy entry, a further lock-down feeling and protects your foot from lace pressure.

TWO LAYER PEBA FOAM MIDSOLE

Supplying you with an exceptional ride, the HOKA Cielo X1 Running Shoes utilise a PEBA foam in a resilient two layer construction to provide you with a more cushioned, responsive ride. The foam adapts to your stride and provides you with a great balance of support and flexibility and also helps to reduce injury by cushioning landing and returning this energy by providing you with propulsive toe-offs. An aggressive rocker shape is specifically designed with a low heel-toe differential and a sculpted outsole to create a rocking chair-style effect to encourage a guided gait cycle for a faster toe-off. Dynamic cut-outs in the midsole reduce weight for an ultra-light ride, helping you move faster, whilst a winged carbon fibre plate wedged between the layers provides a snappy spring in your step for maximum propulsion. A responsive 4mm sockliner delivers comfort underfoot and additional cushioning.

MINIMAL RUBBER OUTSOLE

The outsole is designed to provide grip whilst minimising weight for maximum speed. The minimalist outsole provides strategic coverage whilst eliminating bulk, providing grip where need it most so you can move fast and move with confidence. This rubber is designed to be tough and durable whilst providing excellent grip.
