About Rab
History
The Rab story began in 1981 in a small attic in Sheffield where Rab Carrington made the first sleeping bag to bear his name. Demand from his close-knit climbing community quickly grew and he moved to a factory where his reputation for building fuss-free, hardwearing kit escalated into the brand we know, love, and can rely on today.
Responsibility
Reducing the impact of their products is ingrained into Rab’s design process. But they recognise that sustainability claims about outdoor gear can be confusing. That’s why they’ve introduced Material Facts, giving you the raw data about their products so you can make informed choices.
